A New Tourist Spot!… It’s PM Modi’s Tea Stall In Vadnagar!

While watching our Prime minister talk about his humble origins and his childhood to Bear Grylls on Man vs Wild, what struck me was the humility and the non-regretful demeanour of PM Modi. Often referred to as ‘Chaiwala’ by the opposition, this fact about his childhood remains integral to his personality and charm, one that he holds with pride!

PM Modi's Tea Stall

One of the most striking tales from the Indian Prime Minister’s younger days is of him selling tea. A true people’s man, the tea stall where Prime minister Narendra Modi used to sell tea, is going to be the new destination to visit.

The tiny tea stall at the Vadnagar railway station in Gujarat where he spent a considerable amount of time in the past will stand as a reminiscent of how the story of ‘rags to riches’ came to life with Modiji’s steadfast positivity.

Bharatiya Janata Party minister, Prahlad Singh Patel, also the Minister of State for Culture and Tourism took a tour of the spot recently and came to a decision, that the essence and of the tea stall will be maintained after converting it into a tourist spot. It will only be covered with a glass wall.

As they say, inspiration begins at home!
