Ghaziabad or the “Gateway of UP” as it is popularly called, is enroute becoming one of the most planned industrial cities. Touted as the second fastest growing in the world, it owes it to the administrative, Primary, Commercial and Educational development. A very integral NCR, Ghaziabad has shown it’s spread consistently….no more an inaccessible area, the city is now well connected to all major hubs.
Ghaziabad is home to places that are of historical and religious importance…Here is what I found as the places to see in Ghaziabad…
THE ISKCON Temple is part of the International Society For Krishna Consciousness. Locals proudly claim that it is the most beautiful temple in Ghaziabad and that the idols of Shri Krishna here the most attractive. Surely, the temple’s interiors are beautiful, and the cleanliness is commendable. Much to everyone’s surprise, the temple is most known for a robot, which happens to be its main attraction. Yes, a robot! It is specially designed to enact and preach the teachings of the Bhagwat Gita (holy book of Hindus). The temple also houses a museum, which organises various multimedia shows to propagate the philosophy of two great Indian epics, the Ramayana and Mahabharata.
