Ramlila & Dussehra Mela Celebrations in Noida & Ghaziabad

Events & Exhibitions

September 30, 2019

It is that time of the year again when the ‘good’ takes over the ‘evil’ and all is well again in the world! Yes, Dusshera festivities are reaching their peak with Vijay Dashmi round the corner. But no Dussehra festivities are complete without ‘Ram Lila’ shows. Ramlila is an Indian traditional form that has been performed in all over India and especially in the northern states since many centuries. Everyone gathers at a pre-decided venue, where the locals themselves would put on a show, portraying the victory of Lord Rama over Ravana. This presentation has colorful sets and costumes, and is filled with poetry and music. So, here is a chance to live the golden days again and have some fun! Though the number of Ramlilas in Noida has gone down; we have listed for you a few big Ramlilas this year - Noida, Ghaziabad and Greater Noida.
