Delicious Pan-Asian Fare In An Eclectic Setting @Ni Hao- Radisson, Noida

Dining at the recently opened Ni Hao Radisson, Sec 55, Noida, a retro-chic,  fine dining restaurant with a view of the city skyline from the rooftop , you stop and wonder why it took Noida so long to get such good, authentic Pan – Asian cuisine. Placing it’s bets on its chef-driven  interpretations of Pan-Asian cuisine ( think dim sums,  clay pots, steamed  exotic vegetables and meats with rice wine and fresh chilli garlic and more!),you can  embark on a culinary journey through southeast Asia without leaving your city. What’s more! Whether you’re craving kung pao chicken or delicious dumplings, sizzling sea bass or simple stir-fries, the restaurant offers a beautiful blend of flavours in their numerous preparations.

Masterchef RB made sure we had a great time by presenting an extensive array of delectable dishes, each better than the other. We started our gastronomic journey with some delicious Chicken Chimney Pot soup . This speciality soup is served in a chimney pot and packs quite the punch with an assortment of tofu, shitake mushrooms, bokchoy, Chinese cabbage , carrot and glass noodles, cooked in flavourful stocks.  You have a choice of seafood, vegetables and chicken to choose from. Besides, they have the traditional Tom Kha, Tom Yum and other soups for those who like to stick with the known. 

If you choose to wine in style, they also have an exclusive Bar menu with the choisiest of beverages to suit your palate. We chose to stick with the endless cups of Jasmine tea, refilled by the smiling and courteous staff. 

Now coming to the food! The chefs at Ni Hao prepare Pan-Asian cuisine using authentic spices and ingredients specially brought in from countries like China and Thailand . Explore the diverse cuisines of Asia, all synonymous with remarkable flavours and vibrant colours as the chefs create these delectable dishes right in front of your eyes in the open kitchen. The menu boasts of huge variety of Pan-Asian favourites, including soups, salads and appetizers, followed by a delectable spread of the main course and a delicious array of desserts. 

If you’re looking for low-calorie options, then you will not be disappointed! They even have a ‘dieters special’ with a variety that leaves you spoilt for choice. We tried the Steamed fish with Asian greens, which was yummy. We also enjoyed the grilled chicken salad with cucumber, jalapeno and chilli dressing which had a lovely flavour to it. For the vegetarians there was this delicious Asian garden green salad with lemon honey dressing, as well as Som Tum  , the popular Thai green papaya salad.


For those who enjoy a good barbeque, try their Barbeque Duck and the Rice Wine Marinated Tender Chicken with CNQ pepper. They also have the grilled cottage cheese and grilled mushroom with burnt chilli amongst others, for the vegetarians.


While the wide array of different cuisines leaves you spoilt for choice, their Dimsum section in the menu was my favourites. We ordered the assorted dimsum basket ( non –vegetarian) and were impressed with the taste, texture and sheer variety on offer. Each one filled with juicy meats/ greens of your choice, bursting with flavours, might I say reminiscent of the famous Din Tai Fung dimsums. Yes, they were that good!


As for the appetisers, we ordered the crispy water chestnuts, deep fried and tossed in sweet and spicy sauce and the super crispy, delicious tofu seasoned simply with just salt and pepper. If you are a vegetarian, you must try these !

For the main course the Chef recommended some of their star dishes , including stir fried duck with oriental vegetables , stir fried prawns with scallop in XO sauce and  thai red Curry . We teemed these with some steamed jasmine rice and chicken hakka noodles. Each dish was a class apart but the rich Thai Red curry that makes pan-Asian cuisine such a rage across the globe was just the best.

We ended the meal with a delectable array of desserts.  The fried ice cream and warm melting chocolate cake were melt-in-the mouth delicious. Since we were celebrating a loved one’s birthday, the staff arranged for a yum chocolate mousse cake, from the bakery downstairs. I am definitely heading there to pick more cakes and desserts in the near future! 

All in all we had a lovely time enjoying a delicious meal. It is an ideal setting for a leisure lunch or even an intimate evening meal. Whatever the occasion, they have dishes to suit your cravings and moods and the ambience to go with it!
