Sector 50, Noida, is teeming with many cafes and has something for everybody. Adding to the buzz, Lazy Tales, a recently launched cafe is a great place to chill out with friends and families, over a relaxed meal. They even have a separate bar, for those who want to enjoy a quiet drink or two.
While the interiors are quirky and fun with an attractive wall art, the atmosphere is friendly and intimate. They even have a vintage motorcycle as part of the decor, parked under a lamp post, which is a part of a larger street theme. Soothing music greets you as you enter and are ushered in by the polite staff. As you sink into the comfortable seats, you are transported to a serene place, with a relaxed vibe.
Now, coming to the food. Lazy Tales serves a blend of Mediterranean food along, including a variety of soups & salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, pastas, grills and more. They have a separate bar menu. We tried some delicious starters, including the Veg Hummus Platter, pita served with a variety of humus which was full of flavour and texture all in one dish. This is a wonderful dish for vegetarians or vegans. We also tried the cottage cheese skewers, marinated cottage cheese, pineapple and bell pepper cubes lined up on skewers and grilled, served with roasted tomato salsa. It was yummy!
For main course we ordered the chicken shawarma wrap, a magical blend of yogurt, lemon, and mediterranean spices makes this homemade chicken shawarma wrap mouth wateringly delicious. We even tried the Penne mushroom peri peri , penne pasta and mushroom tossed in a spicy creamy peri peri sauce, the perfect way to add a kick of spice without overpowering the dish. It worked really well as an addition to the creamy pasta sauce in this pasta dish.
Pizza is a family tradition when eating out and we were not going to leave a chance to try one here. We ordered the Chicken Mediterranean, a thin crust pizza with Mediterraneanvegetables, grilled chicken, smoked chicken, smothered with mozerella. Every bite was delicious! A fun dish to try is their Jack Daniels chicken wings, which has been given a twist by the Chef!
For drinks we ordered an Irish Banana Shake and an Iced Tea, both were well preparedwith the just the right amount of sugar. For dessert we tried their Brownie with ice cream and teemed it with a steaming cup of cappuchino , a befitting end to lovely meal.
- Mouthwatering pasta, fresh burgers made using fresh farm veggies , the delicious pizza’s and wraps would surely delight all the kids
- While they have a wide variety of shakes the Irish Banana Shake & the Oreo Strawberry shake were clear winners and it was difficult to identify the adult amongst us as we polished it off.
