Indian Museum

Dakshineshwar Temple

 

The Mythological Spot always form an integral part of city’s tourist chart. Since times immemorial, Dakshineswar Kali Temple stands on the eastern bank of Hooghly River and it worships Deity Bhavatarini.  It was built by Rani Rashmoni and this temple finds place in Indian History due to its association with Ramakrishna. The Temple houses the nine-spired main temple, 12 Shiva Shrines and Radha-Krishna bathing ghat.

Mother House

Mother Teresa recently achieved sainthood and she has spent major portion of her life in Kolkata. She began working in Kolkata and contributed immensely to the society.
