The restaurant tunnel is an air conditioned gallery and is beautified with artistic murals. The interiors depict the strong culture of Bengal. Cafe Ekante has designed the lip smacking menu out here. the mouth watering items are all reasonably priced.
The restaurant can be reached via 2 elevators from Ground Floor. There are two slots. From 12-5 PM, it has a visitor’s slot, where one can buy a ticket for 100/-, go up and enjoy. Some basic snacks along with tea/ coffee are served, at an extra price. The ticket is valid for the tour of Biswa Bangla Gate for one hour only.
The restaurant looks lighted up and gives a spectacular look during the evening and night hours. The dotted lights on the exterior lifts up the looks of the place. A Fine dining haven, it will be open for guests between 7 pm to 10 pm, after the entry to Biswa Bangla Gate gets closed for general public. Perfect for a romantic dinner with the city’s dwindling night lights in the background, it gives you terrific views of the city.
