Nowadays we know most people make a pact with themselves to eat healthy. As days go by, eating better has been painful and quite frankly, seems redundant but that cookie you are about to pick up has three days worth of your recommended sugar intake and that bag of chips you are about to devour? It is probably enough calories you require in a complete day. Food is often treated as fuel for our bodies; to keep our limbs thriving and those who are new to healthy eating might find it tedious and repetitive but who says you can’t eat healthy when going out? Here are five eateries to consider when you have that next snack attack moment:
Yes, I mentioned a chain restaurant but keep in mind, Subway is going to be your best friend when you plan on going out to eat for a non-cheat meal. Subway has a variety of salads and sandwiches; all of them cleaner than expected. As long as you stay away from heavy dressings like mayonnaise and load up on the vegetables, you are good to go.
Timings: 10 AM to 11 PM (Monday to Sunday).
Recommended eats: Chicken ham sandwich with red chilli sauce and mustard.
2. The Yellow Straw
If you don’t like greens, consuming them takes all of your strength to not gag right after. Say, if you don’t like to eat greens, why not drink it? The Yellow straw has a number of juices you can choose from and after devouring, you can call up your mum to hear how proud she is of you.
Timings: 11:30 AM to 8 PM (Monday to Sunday).
Recommended drinks: Mean green straw and power punch straw.
3. La Maison Des Délices
Who says you can’t be fancy while eating well? Although not comprising entirely of healthy eats, La Maison Des Délices has tons of healthy food options that will satiate your appetite. So, next time you dress all fancy, La Maison Des Délices is the place to go.
Timings: 12 Noon to 11 PM (Monday to Sunday)
Recommended eats: Winter salad and oven roasted potatoes.
4. Cafe Pranah
This little cafe with incredibly comfortable decor screams health. When visiting this cafe, one will feel their soul healing along with their body and you cannot ask for more. The food here is nutritious while not lacking any flavour at all.
Timings: 11 AM to 9 PM (Monday to Sunday)
Recommended eats: Chickpea pancakes and couscous ensemble.
5. The Protein Bistro
A lot of eateries require formal introductions but The Protein Bistro, in its name, defines health. Although packed with nutrition, the food here doesn’t compromise itself when it comes to robust flavours. Enjoy a delicious meal without feeling guilty.
Timings: 7 AM to 10 PM (Monday to Sunday).
Recommended eats: Grilled fish with vegetables and quinoa bowl
