It’s always a bonus to learn new languages and if you’re a hyderabadi then most of you would know basic knowledge of the different languages spoken over here. Not just this, learning a foreign language also helps when you travel to different cities/countries around the world as communicating with the locals becomes much easier. Hyderabad has several institutes located in many areas that teach foreign languages and spoken English classes as well. Here’s our guide for some of the institutes that work on the same.
VIFL stands for Vivekananda Institutes of Foreign Languages and their object is to provide individuals with world class training in foreign languages. They have won various awards including the Education Excellence Award in 2012 as it’s just not about language training but also provide with various life skills for individuals to help reach their goals. Italian, German, Spanish and French are some of the languages that they’re going to be teaching from February 2016 onwards.

IAH stands for Institute of Arabic Studies in Hyderabad and as the name suggests the focus is on learning the Arabic language including urdu. They have been in existence since 2004 understanding the needs of various muslims around who want to willingly learn and write their native language. The institute is however open for one and all spreading the Arabic language learning.

The Goethe institute is a cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany as they provide you with some good knowledge on Germany including its culture and roots. They teach and promote the German language only with a global reach. They have various courses and examinations during the study of this language that sees cultural diversity as an asset.

The Alliance Francaise of Hyderabad is a non-profit global organization that was established in 1980. They have around 800 centres around the world including 15 AF’s in India and specialize in teaching the French language that include conversation French, specialized French and Business French. They organize around 100 cultural events in Hyderabad that include monthly French films and documentary screenings, dance shows, concerts, theatre plays, exhibitions, conferences, workshops, master classes and competitions.

The Russel’s spoken language institute is quite a popular and a well-known place in the city. They follow a method called the ‘Need-Based’ teaching where they first understand the student’s requirement in English, their future plans and the present fluency in the language. Based on these points the trainers build customized courses to enhance their English speaking skills. Some of the significant features in the institute are need based training for every student, regular testing and monitoring, individual case file, certification at the end of the course and job placement through regular job fairs.
