The last book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows released in 2007, nine years ago when J.K. Rowling broke millions of hearts by announcing she wouldn’t write another Harry Potter book. Nine years and eight movies later, she announced what the Potter maniacs were dying to here since Deathly Hallows-renewal of the Harry Potter franchise with a two-part play co-written with Jack Thorne and John Tiffany to be performed at London’s Palace Theatre whose script would also be published in the form of a book. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child-said to be the eighth part is set nineteen years after Harry, Ron and Hermione graduate from Hogwarts.
Cursed Child is the most awaited book of the year and the wait ends this weekend with the book all set for a world-wide release on 31st July, 2016-the same date as the release of the last book which is incidentally author J.K. Rowling’s birthday and Harry Potter’s birthday as well! The world awaits with bated breath to find out how Harry is doing after nineteen years. How are his children? And what are his friends and teachers upto? Voldemort had been vanquished, but is he actually gone never to return? Did Harry’s scar hurt ever again? So many questions and the answers are just a few days away.
