Shooting has quietly emerged as quite a popular sport or pastime in India. This has been fuelled by several successes at the international stage by Indians such as Abhinav Bindra, Jaspal Rana, Rajyavardhan Rathore (who is now a union minister), Jitu Rai, Gagan Narang, Vijay Kumar, Heena Sidhu and Saniya Sheikh. The cities of Gurgaon and Faridabad have likewise kept up this trend by offering several accessible and affordable shooting rangers for amateurs or professionals to practice in.
Here’s a look at some of those prominent options:
Rezang La Shooting Sports Academy
The Rezang La academy is one of the newest and glitziest locations to practice shooting in Gurgaon. It is named aptly after one of the most famous battle grounds during the 1962 Sino-Indian War, where the Indian Army put up one of the bravest resistances to foreign invasion. The simulation is ideal for peaceful practice, specialising in 10 metre Air Pistol and Air Rifle.
