A true & short Story shared by a known person…. (Names of the people have changed)
This is when Sanjay’s younger sister Meena died in her young age (23 years) due to Jaundice. She was the only girl in the family and was the favorite of even her extended family. It was after a few days when the regular ritual of Ashes Immersion in Haridwar was supposed to be done. 5 people including Sanjay left Delhi (in a SWIFT Car) in the night around 11 PM so that they can reach Haridwar in the morning around 4-4:30 AM and then complete the rituals. It was raining heavily that night and they found heavy traffic after Ghaziabad. They got stuck in a huge jam and the traffic was not moving at all… After 30 min. police starter diverting traffic through an alternate route which made them get out of the Jam and they crossed the junction where these 2 Trucks had collided and were the reason of the Jam.
This was around 1:30 pm that Sanjay (sitting in the front left side), his Taya Ji (Father’s Elder brother, sitting in left corner at back)) & Father (sitting in right corner at back) were sleeping & only Tarun (the younger cuisine) & Rahul (their neighbor) who was driving were not asleep. After going some 500 meters. ahead they saw a WOMEN walking in a White Saree on the main Road… with her back facing them. Rahul was speechless and saw back to find if he is the only 1 who can see this lady… but to his surprise, Tarun could also see her and a sudden chill ran down their spine. Tarun started shouting “Jaldi Bhagga… Speed up” which made every one awake & they all saw that woman as the Car passed that Lady.
As soon as they went ahead 100 Mtrs., a tree Fell on the road because of the heavy rain and it just missed the Car. Everyone started praying to pass safely from that deserted stretch and could not forget that day even after 7 years today.
