I love my job….why, you ask? You would too if you got the opportunity to experience what i did at Feel Alive! The latest buzz in G town, that is bound to cause much stir in the future, is here…right in the midst of the buzzing sector 29 market. With no dirth of party venues in town,  here is one place that allows you to Feel alive in the true sense.

feel alive The plush yet casual lounge resto bar has much to boast of owing to it’s very comfortable, a tad rustic and casual seating, with a section set on an elevated platform, co-ordinating perfectly with the dim lighting and the resident DJ churning some of my favourites! The bar, stationed on one side, has everything that the G-towners’ love for drinking can stretch to.

As i settled myself in, Mr. Anil Bisht, the manager, left no stone unturned to make my experience a top drawer one. I scouted through their bar menu, which did impress me with their list of Innovative Mixology Specialties. Mr. Ankush Kumar, the bar Engineer for Feel Alive, was gracious enough to suggest some of his most unique concoctions. A rooter for lighter drinks that i am, it was Ecstacy and Good Tidings for me. Ecstacy, a very comfortable mix of Gin, Vanilla, Mango, Chocolate and Rose water, gave a distinct chocolate flavour that seemed perfectly blended, while Good Tidings opposed with its mix of Vodka, Cointreau, Lemon Juice and Five spices, the first sip giving a very strong taste of fennel seeds, but gradually of cinnamon, cardamom and pepper…surprisingly refreshing!

Dahi Ke Kabab

Their food menu, though regular, cannot be ignored. Chef Tej Singh Negi’s expertise came through in the most culinarily satisfying forms. Dahi Ke Kabab, a vegetarian creation that scored plenteous brownie points  owing to it literally melting over the tongue.

Oriental Chicken Dimsums

Followed by Oriental Chicken Dim Sums, fresh and easeful, served with Shanghai and Macau sauces, that added to the authentic Oriental flavour, this one was a winner….also credit it to my bias towards Oriental cuisine.

Malaysian Chicken Satay

Next came the Malaysian Chicken Satay, succulent and corely marinated, oozing of it, we just couldn’t stop at one. Contradicting the Oriental flavours was the Chicken Malai Tikka, Indian to its very core, served with Mint Chutney, it was supple and delectable.

feel alive

The main course was inevitable, as the appetizers had already set the trail for what was to follow. Acting on the Chef’s suggestion, thoroughly enjoying the easy ambiance, we ordered The All Meat Pizza, a loadful of heaven for those who love their meat, and I include myself on top of the list….and the Home Style Simply Veg Pizza, which mustn’t be underestimated for lack of it! Purely vegetarian and purely tasty!

Private Lounge Area

Before you think this is it, well…there’s some more…They also have private lounge area complete with all accompaniments for a private Karaoke night or a cozy rendezvous with your brigade! Feel Alive lives true to it’s name…not just in terms of the ambiance, but everything it entails! Feel Alive promises to deliver, more than just a regular evening out.
