The Minions are here! Bring your Minion-obsessed friends to The Minnions Cafe in Laxmi Nagar, New Delhi, to try some delicious yummies. It’s a convenient place to gather your whole squad to show these yellow sidekicks some love too.

The setting in this minion themed cafe is quirky and fun, with bright blue and yellow hues of minion colours and giant minion posters lit up by fairy lights. For X Box-lovers, they have a dedicated corner for X Box games where you can sit  for hours with your troop and treat yourself to a variety of goodies while you kill a few in mortal combat! They also screen live matches and movies on a huge projector. That’s not all, they have a photo booth with super fun props to ensure that you and your gang have a fun time. Definitely Instagram picture worthy!

The casual, family-friendly cafe has a vast menu with a wide array of sandwiches, pastas, pizzas burgers, shaketails, coffee and desserts, on offer. Menu favourites include cheese jalapeño poppers, crispy nachos pizza, dhabba maggi,( maggi cooked in dhaba style with tadka in it) baked panner tikka , amongst others. Their special shaketails, include chocochip and nutella, caramel and butterscotch , peanut butter and kitkat, brownie and vanilla. The shakes have an actual edible minion on the top and are simply yum.  For pasta cravings, try their range of lip-smacking pasta dishes, fresh and delicious with a variety of sauces to choose from.

Yearning for a refreshing drink? Besides, the delicious cold coffee, try their Pan Mojito ( an in-house speciality) , shredded bits of betel leaves, mint and lime , which made for fresh-tasting sips.

The Chef’s special, garlic bread sticks served with a cheesy dip and a jalapeno dip were delicious, as were the pizzas. A special mention of the Popeye’s Love pizza, which had melting mozzarella cheese, caramalized onion, spinach and olives.  For those looking for a quick, light meal, they also have a wide variety of sandwiches and pastas to offer. The Anda Pav and Baked Chicken Tikka are great fillers for the in-between times when you want to have some light and filling snacks with your drinks as you watch your favourite match.

For dessert, we couldn’t resist the Banana gelato and the crackle cake in a jar. It was divine and melt-in-the -mouth delicious.

The menu includes something for everyone and that too without burning a hole in your pocket. All in all the food was comforting, yet, delicious. A great option to catch up with friends, family get-togethers, as well as kiddie parties.
