IGI Airport To Be India’s First Fully Plastic Free Airport By The End Of This Year

IGI Airport the “Shaan” of Delhi, is planned to be fully plastic free in the next 5 months. IGI is stopping the consumption of Single-Use plastic in the airport premises. No inch of plastic would be used by the shops and the Airport Authority. 

IGI is planning to substitute plastic cups, spoons, and straws with the paper ones. This will surely reduce the plastic consumption, to reduce the wastage they will be adding reusable containers and Plates, which can be washed and used again.
